Waltz with Bashir is a 2008 Israeli animated documentary film about the Sabra and Shatila massacre during the 1982 Lebanon War. Written and directed by Ari Folman, it describes him, seeking for his lost memories about that war and the massacre. As it's a documentary, most of the characters are voiced by themselves. It won many awards like a Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film or a César Award for Best Foreign Film, and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and others.
