The Norinco 7.62x25mm Type 54 pistol is the standard pistol in use with the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It is a direct copy of the Soviet/Russian 7.62x25mm Tokarev TT-33 pistol. The Pistol Series 213 are commercial models of this pistol. There are three models in the 213 series: The base Model 213 is a Type 54 revised to fire 9x19mm ammunition, the Model 213A is a model 213 with a 14 round capacity box magazine, and the Model 213B is a Model 213 with revised molded grips to improve comfort of the shooter.
