Grand Theft Auto IV:
Melee:
- Combat Knife - Baseball Bat
Handguns:
- Glock 17
The standard handgun in Grand Theft Auto IV is visably a Glock 17. It is used by the police, as well as various other characters throughout the game.
- IMI Desert Eagle
The .50 Desert Eagle is the more powerful handgun in GTA IV, and is used by a variety of characters throughout the game.
Shotguns:
- Compact shotgun, possibly a Mossberg 590.
The shotgun, a "shorty" entry shotgun, is used by various gang members and police.
- Combat shotgun, probably a Benelli M3
The Combat Shotgun is available later in the game, and can be obtained from Police Cars.
Sub Machine Guns:
- IMI Micro Uzi
The Micro SMG is used by assorted criminals in Liberty City.
- Heckler and Koch MP5
The MP5 is standard issue to the LCPD SWAT teams and various gang members.
Assault Rifles:
- AK-47
The AK-47, a Russian made AKM, is used almost entirely by criminals in the City.
- Colt M4
The M4 Carbine is issued to certain members of the LCPD, including the SWAT team and airport police. Interestingly, the M4 in the game has the carrying handle detached and a H&K style rear sight attached.
Sniper Rifles:
The basic, bolt action sniper rifle featured in the game is the Remington 700. It is used by the majority of marksmen in the game.
- Heckler and Koch PSG1
The semi automatic sniper rifle is a PSG1.
Heavy Weapons/Thrown:
- RPG7 - Frag Grenades - Molotov Cocktails - Rocks/Bottles
