Sharps Deringer

Jacqueline de Bellefort (Mia Farrow) carries a Sharps Deringer in her purse, which she uses to "shoot" Simon Doyle (Simon MacCorkindale) in the leg. Simon himself uses the Sharps to shoot his wife Linnet (Lois Chiles). Colonel Race (David Niven) tells Hercule Poirot (Peter Ustinov) it is a .22 caliber weapon.
