M1 Carbine

Sonny Wortzik (Al Pacino) uses a M1 Carbine as his main weapon during the bank robbery, sometimes handing it off to Sal when he would go to talk to the police outside. Several NYPD officers surrounding the bank also carry M1 Carbines, some with extended 30-round magazines.
