The following weapons were used in the film Training Day:
Beretta 92FS
Hoyt (Ethan Hawke) carries the LAPD standard issue 9mm Beretta 92FS throughout the film. Much like Hoyt the Beretta 92 has a history of reliability, accuracy and ruggedness. For a "by the books" man like Hoyt the Beretta 92FS is a great choice.
Smith & Wesson 4506
Alonzo (Denzel Washington) carries twin Smith & Wesson 645s in .45 ACP with custom rear sights throughout Training Day. .45 ACP handguns were approved for LAPD carry after the infamous North Hollywood shootout. (note: I think the rear sights are not really "custom", but the regular S&W adjustable rear sights used in many models)
Glock 17
Mark, one of the men in Alonzo's unit, carries a Glock 17.
H&K MP5A3
AKS-74U
Used by the Russian Hit Squad.
