The following firearms were used in the film White Lightning:
(also see the page for the 1976 sequel Gator)
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Sheriff J.C. Connors (Ned Beatty) and some of his deputies (including one played by Conlan Carter) carry Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers. Several Arkansas highway patrolmen are also seen with Model 10s.
Mossberg 500
Sheriff J.C. Connors (Ned Beatty) uses a Mossberg 500 to blow holes in Donny McKlusky's boat in order to sink it during the opening sequence. Gator McKlusky (Burt Reynolds) later grabs a similar Mossberg from Dude Watson (Matt Clark), firing it into the ceiling of Dude's garage during the struggle.
unidentified rifle
A prison guard who watches Gator escape from prison carries a rifle, possibly a Winchester Model 70.
High Standard Flite King
The warden (Lincoln Demyan) carries a High Standard Flite King shotgun when he catches Gator trying to escape from prison.
double-barreled shotgun
Big Bear (R.G. Armstrong) carries a double barreled shotgun, which Gator McKlusky (Burt Reynolds) grabs from him and uses during the shootout.
unidentified rifle #2
During the funeral procession at the end, several rifles are carried but too swiftly to be accurately identified.
