The following guns were used in the movie Sniper
M40A1
Tom Berenger as USMC Sniper Beckett uses an M40A1 Sniper Rifle which is based on the Remington Model 700 Bolt Action Rifle.
The M40A1 rifles used in the film were Remington 700 rifles, supplied for the filming by 'Weapons and Effects' of San Rafael, CA. The rifles were fully prepared as though they would see real use, with aftermarket bedding, trigger jobs, McMillan stocks and parkerization done by Scott, McDougall & Associates of Santa Rosa, CA.
Heckler & Koch SR9TC
Billy Zane as SWAT sniper Richard Miller uses a Heckler & Koch SR9TC, which is actually a conversion of an HK91, like nearly all of the SR9s seen in Hollywood movies. Note in the screenshot below that it lacks the forward assist, which characterizes the factory SR9TC.
SVD Dragunov
The enemy sharpshooter, DeSilva, who was trained by Tom Berenger used an SVD Dragunov. Also the Enemy Sniper at Ochoa's Compound also used an SVD Dragunov.
Browning M2
Heckler & Koch MP5
AK series
RPD Light Machine Gun
It is used by the drug dealer's personal guards
Sig P226
Colt 1911 Variant?
Used by Beckett at the end of the film.
