#2 LARGEST TELEVISION PAGE ON THE SITE
The following weapons are seen in the television series The Unit:
Pistols
Kimber Custom TLE II
The Kimber Custom TLE II is the sidearm of choice for Jonas Blane, Mack Gerhardt, and Tom Ryan. Some of the Kimber Custom TLE II pistols have rails, others do not.
Kimber Warrior
The Kimber Warrior has become the sidearm for many of the Unit's members in the most recent season, taking the place of the Custom TLE II.
SIG-Sauer P226
The SIG-Sauer P226 is the sidearm of Charles Grey, Hector Williams and Bob Brown. Bob routinely carries a full size Glock in season 1 before switching to a P226. Charles procures one with a suppressor in season 4, episode 14.
Glock 23
The Glock 23 was seen in season 1 where Jonas Blaine's daughter took ahold up home. Blaine took her to the range to shoot.
Glock 17
Bob used a Glock 17 in Season 1 before he switched over to the P226.
M1911A1
A [1911]] belongs to Kim Brown. It looks like an old fashion 1911. Jonas gets one at the end of Season 2. Jonas also has a variant. Mack also has an old fashion 1911 he keeps as his primary sidearm for the rest of the series. In Season 1 Episode 9, the arms dealer is shown brandishing a gold M1911A1.
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS has been seen in the hands of SWAT members, Unit members, and US military CID agents. Mack picked one off a biker when he lured them into a fight. In the season 1 episode "Dedication" most of Alpha and Bravo teams are seen with them in holsters, though they are never used.
SIG P230
Used by a couple enemies and also carried by Colonel Ryan to his wedding ceremony, where he uses it to kill an attacker.
Walther TPH
Mack uses a Walther TPH in season 1 in the last episode and when he was on a mission he almost always carries it inside his pants it is also seen in the first episode of season two when he quits he has to give it back although he later returns
Brixia 8mm Walther Blank Firing Pistol
In the story. Jonas took 2 of these out as a hidden weapon that he kept within a rat trap. He handed on to is wife before he made a disappearing act. I guess in story it's supposed to resemble a Walther TP or TPH.
I don't know dude...these look a lot like the Walther PP or PPK to me. If these images are from the episode I am thinking of (the finale of Season 1) my reaction, at the time, was "why is Joans carrying such a weak ass pistol as his sidearm???".
Nah, the Walthers don't have that little extra piece of metal extending from the trigger guard to the barrel. But, then again...
- It looks like a Walther PSM. It's like a PPK but with an extended trigger guard. Hammer looks like it too. -GM
- What is a Walther PSM? Did you mean Walther TP or TPH? PSM is a Russian pistol made by Izhevsk.
- That is a Brixia 8mm Walther Blank Firing Pistol. I just checked the lower image against the one I have. Brixia Arms used to make this type of blank gun about 10 years ago, but their quality was pretty bad. There 'might' be some available, but the majority of the 8mm theatrical blank firing PPKs on the market now are made by Kimar or Voltran. What tips it off, is the writing on the slide (it is identical to the markings on my Brixia Nickel plated Walther PPK theatrical blank gun) and the hole drilled in the top of the barrel (where the ejection port is). This hole allows the flash from the blank round to fire upwards since the barrel is blocked. Also the magazine is a thin single stack type that only holds those skinny 8mm blank rounds. ____MoviePropMaster2008
Heckler & Koch USP
The sidearms of both Bob Brown and Sam "Whiplash" McBride in season 4 and also see used by a unit member in season 2. Also seen used by the Turk in the Season 2 episode "Games of Chance."
Remington 1866 Derringer
At the last episode of season 1, Jonas had it as a hidden weapon and in season 4 it was Bridgett Sullivan's backup weapon.
Actually I believe it is a DA38 Double Action Derringer made by American Derringer. The Remington derringers' barrels tilt up while the one in the show has barrels that tip down and when Jonas places it in his waistband it appears to have a double action trigger.
S&W J-Frame Model 60
This was seen at the season 2 finale. A hidden weapon by Mack which was then used by his wife to threaten him before he took it back.It was seen in the season 4 premere as Macks throw away gun
Tokarev TT-33
The one seen in the series seems to be a chrome plated Tokarev TT-33 Pistol or some other copy. Norinco tokarevs are used by chinese officers when the unit fights them at the casino. Used by Jonas and Bob.
Walther PPK
Likely a Makarov or Walther PPK seen once in the series at least. In season 4, episode 4, Mack had a weapon what seemed like a PPK with a suppressor attached to kill a terrorist he was planning on bringing back to the US.
High Standard Sharpshooter M
Bob Brown was given this gun in his first mission in episode one and he used with great effect to take care of terrorists hiding in the woods. The weapon he had had a wooden grip. Seen configured with a scope in a later episode.
Karh K9 M9098 Elite
Seen in season 4 episode 2.
Heckler & Koch P7M8
Taken from a dead terrorist after the Unit killed them to steal their money. Episode 3 of season 4. Shown briefly but might appear again in the series. What looks like a p7 is used to kill a nazi war criminal in most recent episode.
Unknown Revolver
It's a stub nose revolver maybe S&W. Hard to tell at that angle with the grip covered by a hand.
Walther P5
Seen in season 2 with stainess steel finish and was carried by Bob.
Mauser C96
We see an assassin try to kill someone with this, but Bob, who was the other sniper, stopped him with a well aimed shot before he was able to do so in season 3 episode 10.
Webley Mk IV
It might be a mk VI
Browning Hi-Power
SR-1 Guryza
Found on a spetznaz member, identified by Bob as "9mm armor piercing Standard Spetznaz Issue". Personally, it looks like a Makarov to me. They were based on same design, so its possible a makarov was used to portray it.
Smith & Wesson 5906
Seen used by a police officer in Season 2 Episode 4.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
Used quite a bit in early season 1. Also prominently featured in Season 2 Episode 20, where they were used by an entire SWAT team.
H&K MP5SD2/SD3
Seen used by Jonas, Bob, and Grey on a few occasions. Notable in episode 1 of season 4. Though the ones in the first episode of season 4 might have just been regular MP5s with fake SD barrels because the sounds didn't sound like suppressed rounds. Either that or someone in the sound department forgot to edit the sound in that episode to be more quiet. Most of the MP5SDs in season 4, episode 1 were of the newer variants with the navy trigger group.
Grey also used an MP5SD2 in Season 1 Episode 4.
H&K MP5K
Jonas, Mack and Hector are seen using these. Jonas and Mack were seen using the newer Navy trigger group variant, while Hector was seen using one with the old "SEF" trigger group. Used by bob in Guyana to cover Jonas's escape.
Sten
Uzi
A full size Uzi has been seen a few times. Grey was also seen with one in season 4 as well as a few terrorists.
Mini Uzi
Seen used by a Terrorist in the plane in season 1 episode 1. Bob got a hold of one in season 4, episode 4.
MAC-10
In the hands of Mexican smugglers.
Cobray M11/9
Beretta PM12S
Smuggled into a diamond mine in season 2 episode 6 and used by Jonas and Hector. Jonas and Grey got their hands on some to escape in season 4, episode 4.
Steyr SPP
Smuggled into a diamond mine in season 2 episode 6 by Hector and used by Bob Brown. It's the civilian verison of the TMP modified for full auto.
Škorpion vz. 61
Seen used by terrorists in Season 3 and hijackers in Season 4.
AP-9
Seen in the last episode of season 1.
- I think this is actually an AP-9, which is similar but not quite the same.
H&K MP-7A1 PDW
In episode 1 of season 3, an assassin used an MP7 on Jonas while he was trying to get his cover out. We only see it for that one scene and never again until season 4 episode 15.
Assault Rifles
Colt M4A1 Carbine
M4A1 Carbines are used by all members of the Unit, often with a 40mm M203 Grenade Launcher, and with an optical sight (normally the Trijicon 4x ACOG, Aimpoint CompM2 and/or EOTech 552 Holographic sight). Sometimes they switch with the HK 416s.
M16 variants
Seen usually in the hands of non Unit members of the military like the Army in one episode. After Hector's death, Mack was seen cleaning and preparing Hector's M16, including attaching a bayonet. Bob used one during his selection training.
In the photos below you can see the older first version M16s.
Heckler & Koch HK416
One of the rifles that is used by the Unit members is the Heckler & Koch HK416 usually in the the D10RS sub-variant with a 10 inch barrel, with optical sights sometimes. Grey is the only one in the Unit that had his with a carrying handle attached plus a compact ACOG scope, the others usually have the EOTech 552 Holographic sight attached. And Mack didn't get to use one in the series
Colt Model 933
Used by Jonas, Mack, Bob, and Grey in Season 3 Episodes 7 and 8 (note that in episode 8 they switch to HK416s a couple times in a continuity error, which implies they are intended to stand in for them). They are seen outfitted with EOTech 551 Holographic sights, AN/PEQ-2s, Crane stocks, vertical foregrips, and rail mounted flip-up front sights, but strangely lack a rear sight, although one shows up on Snake Doc's rifle sometimes in another continuity error.
Heckler & Koch G36C
Grey wielded one in the last episode of season 1.
SIG SG 552
Seen used by Jonas in the last episode of season 1. Hector also wield this weapon as well. Grey also had one also in the second episode of season 1.
FN FAL
Seen in the hands of Jonas and Hector in episode 2 of season 1. Jonas used iron sights while Hector had a scope. These were the full length FALs and one might of had a wooden stock. It was hard to tell. In season 3, episode 4, there was a couple FALs used by the enemy.
AK variants
Everyone in the unit has used an AK in the series at least once. To hide their tracks they Unit members used AKs with suppressors in their mission in Iran. Most enemies have also used the many variants of AKs.
Sa vz. 58
FN F2000 Tactical
Jonas can be seen using an FN F2000 Tactical in season 2 episode 2, fitted with a scope.
FAMAS
Seen in the hands of French Soldiers at the season 1's finale. Also seen in the hands of soldiers in South East Asia.
Ruger Mini-14
Resting on a tree by one of the lookouts that Bob takes out in the first episode of the series. Also seen used by a man in episode 4 of season 1.
Heckler & Koch G3
Used by rebel forces aiding The Unit.
Heckler & Koch HK91
Used by the arms dealer's guards in Season 1 Episode 9. Some are obviously non-firing replicas, likely done for the safety of the child actors.
Shotguns
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Seen in "First Responders" (S1E1).
Benelli M3 Super 90
Seen in the first episode but were seen in the hands of National Guardsman and then in the hands of Hector and Grey.
Stevens 512 Gold Wing O/U Shotgun
Jonas fires a Stevens 512 Gold Wing O/U Shotgun chambered in 12 gauge owned by the Guyanan Oil Minister, it seems that even high-ranking government officials cheap out on shotgun choice..
Sawed off Double Barrel
Remington 870
Mack used this shotgun posing as a bird hunter in episode 4 of season 1. It was taken away when he was captured.
Ithaca 37
Seen in episode 2, season 3.
Machine Guns
FN MAG mocked up as M240G
First and second images seen in use by French UN forces and the 3rd and 4th are images of US Army. They are recognizable as the M240G due to lack of heat shield but most likely, these are actually original FN MAGs mocked up to look like the M240G.
FN Minimi
Hector used this MG in his final mission in season 3. He had the paratrooper verison.
Browning M2 .50 caliber
Seen on top of HUMVEES used by the US Army
PK Machine Gun
Seen used in episode 2 of season 1.
RPK light machine gun
Used by a terrorist in Season 3, Episode 3 during the shootout at the aircraft hanger.
M60E4 Mk.43 mod. 1
Used by Jonas in Season 4, Episode 7. If this is an M60, then it's probably the M60E4/Mk.43 mod. 1 MG with the picatinny rails on receiver cover and forend, and the removable front grip. I got a pic of this from the CBS website. I actually thought it might have been a SAW because it was short.
KPV Heavy Machine Gun
Used by the Syrian Army in Season 4, Episode 8. It is referred to by Mack as "a big gun".
Sniper Rifles
Mark 12 Mod 0 SPR
Used by Jonas in Episode 9 of Season 1.
M16A4 (Sporter Competition H-Bar)
Shown prominently in season 2 episode 3 where for some strange reason, the entire unit went into the field carrying them and their man that was pinned down was also carrying one. It was noted that Blaine recognized the sound of a "7.62" shot distinctly over the enemy sniper's weapon to recognize friendly's fire. The problem is that all of their rifles fires 5.56 including the man they were rescuing, who clearly was using an M4. At the beginning of the episode - Bob was training a group of unit members and except himself, they all were using these rifles. Propwise, these are probably the same ones used later in the episodes by the rest of the Unit cast out in the field. This rifle was used more as a sniper rifle, since they were all fighting in semi. One instance where Mack fired in full for suppression fire means these rifles aren't semi-only sniper rifles, but used in the same manner, also with 20 round magazines.
It's worth noting that the sound signature of the "7.62" that Blain recognized was much beefier than that of a 5.56. Spartan198
Knight's Armament SR-25
This one is a .308 model, unlike the rifles above. Also this is likely an actual sniper rifle since the front sight was removed. Also note how it lacks a forward assist like an SR-25 and uses one of the older style 2 line magazine.
This is clearly an Armalite AR-10. Look at the mag release fence and the upper reciever has a built-in case deflector. Not to mention the M-14 magazine in the gun or the Armalite muzzle break...
Cheyenne Tactical M-200 Intervention
Used in the Episode "Dark of the Moon" by Bob and Hector to engage the tribesmen. (.408 Chey Tac)
Heckler & Koch PSG-1
Mack used this rifle in "Stress" (S1E2) with great effect. His rifle had a 20 round magazine in it.
Remington 700 action on Accuracy International Chassis System
Seen in the season 1 episode "Non-permissive Environment" and was "fired" by Bob. Mack also used this in Episode 1 of the 4th season.
This is an Accuracy Internation Chassis System (AICS). The bolt is not an AI design and is probably a Remington 700 variant. The folding stock hinge and adjustable cheek piece are visible in the close-up, so this would be an AICS ver. 2. Also, AI L115 rifles are generally outfitted with Schmidt and Bender PMII scopes which this scope is definitely not. Also, unless the magazine has been removed (unlikely during a mission), the magazine on an actual Accuracy International AW/M will be protruding from the bottom of the stock. You can clearly see the paddle style magazine release in front of the trigger guard which would normally be blocked by an inserted magazine.
Scope mounted backwards (Scope is a 10X fixed power Leupold M3 Ultra, note the lock ring on the rear objective mounted forward and the mounts lock nuts to the right rather than left.
Scope mounted backwards
This rifle is the same rifle used by Micheal Weston in Season 2 of Burn Notice. He assembles a Rem 700 in a folding AICS Stock. The giveaway is the scope rings are the same cheapies seem on Jonas rifle here. They should be heavy badgers or warnes.
Remington Model 700P
Gerhardt (Max Martini) wields a Remington 700P rifle. These guns are chambered in either .308 or .300 Winchester Magnum. Seen in the new opening of season 4 and actually seen in episode 3 of said season.
SVD Dragunov
Seen in the hands of a terrorists in season 2.
Blaser R93 LRS2 Precision Sniper Rifle
During an episode in season 3, the Unit went on a mission with the Blaser R93 LRS2 as their sniper rifles. There were 3 of them at most held by Bob, Grey and Mack with Jonas alternating with Bob a couple times. Though, it does seem that none of the actors fired a shot from the rifle as apparently when Mack "fired" from standing, he felt no recoil at all and there was no muzzle flash when Bob "fired" his. The sound effect made us hear a suppressed round when clearly none of the rifles were suppressed.
AIG Asymmetric Warrior ASW338LM
In a recent episode, Bob Brown (Scott Foley) used a Gen 2 AIG Asymmetric Warrior ASW338LM modular sniper rifle in .338 Lapua Magnum to cover the Unit.
Heavy Weapons
M203 Grenade Launcher
Like all armories for film and TV series, these would most likely be Cobray 37mm flare launchers that were designed to look like M203s. This is a common practice to have the appearence of 203s. It is unlikely any of the M203s seen in the series are real M203s.
- While that could be the case, the second picture of Blane show that it is an M203, the the C37. But, with the advancement of m203s and RIS systems, a soldier could simply slide on an m203. So, it could also be an airsoft replica if its never fired. The Winchester
- The only episodes I recall seeing Cobrays in are S4E7/8. Spartan198 19:35, 11 April 2009 (UTC) Spartan198
FIM-92A Stinger
Seen in one episode where Bob took out a helicopter with one.
Chinese Type 69 RPG
Both examples seen here are the Chinese Type 69 launcher (the Chinese version of the Soviet RPG-7). The biggest difference is that the Chinese RPG had only one pistol grip. The second hand has to grasp a carry handle on top of the launcher. One was used by Blaine in an episode. The Type 69s in the series have an optical sight mounted on the launcher.
Other Weapons
SKS rifle
Seen in episode 20 of season 2.
M1 Garand
Seen used by American forces in the Korean War flashback.
Winchester 1886
The park ranger in Episode 1 of Season 4 had it. Could possibly be a Marlin 336
- Its a Marlin. Good call. The Winchester
Kentucky Flintlock Musket
Found in the cabin by Grey in episode 1 of season 4. It wasn't used but the black powder that came with it was used.
Bow & Arrow
Not a firearm but should be noted since Bob went Ted Nugent on the fake US National Guardsmen in Episode 1 of season 4.
Wheelie bag carrying handle gun
In season 4, episode 4, Bob and Jonas had these weapons disguised as the carrying handles for their wheelie bags. It appears each of the square extendable rods were hidden barrels that each load one round, possible .22 or something small. To fire, they collaspe the carrying handle forward into the smaller rod like you would a carrying handle of this type and it fires both rounds at the same time. I don't know if this is a real firearm, but it acts like one. Meant to be used to disarm armed men with real guns.
