The following weapons were used in the film The Mod Squad:
Smith & Wesson Model 36
LAPD Capt. Adam Greer (Dennis Farina) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 36 in his waistband.
SIG-Sauer P230
Peter "Pete" Cochran (Giovanni Ribisi) carries a SIG-Sauer P230 when he goes undercover, giving it to Det. Bob Mothershed (Richard Jenkins) afterwards.
Beretta 92FS
All LAPD officers in the film, including Det. Tricky (Sam McMurray) when he carries out the assassinations, carry Beretta 92FS pistols. At times, they sound suppressed despite their unsuppressed appearance.
Smith & Wesson Model 66
Det. Greene (Michael O'Neill) draws a Smith & Wesson Model 66 on another detective while planning the drug exchange.
Smith & Wesson 5906
One of Howard's thugs is seen loading and checking a Smith & Wesson 5906 the night before the exchange. He uses it during the airstrip shootout.
Remington 870
A Remington 870 can be seen among the weapons checked by Howard's men the night before the exchange. They are used by the corrupt policemen during the "raid" and shootout, including Det. Tricky (Sam McMurray) and Det. Tom Eckford (Larry Brandenberg). Towards the end, Pete takes Tricky's 870 and uses it to beat him over the head.
Sa vz. 61 Skorpion
All of Howard's men, including Howard (Michael Lerner) himself and Billy Waites (Josh Brolin) fire Sa vz. 61 Skorpions during the final shootout.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
Det. Tricky pulls a Smith & Wesson Model 60 out on the Mod Squad after the final shootout. Det. Briggs (Steve Harris) also has one when arresting the corrupt officers during the finale.
