The following weapons were used in the 1986 film The Mission:
Spanish Flintlock Pistol
A Flintlock Pistol is seen carried by a Spanish officer during the assault on the Mission. Rodrigo Mendoza (Robert De Niro) is seen attaching one to some barrels of gunpowder that are attached to a bridge.
Brown Bess Flintlock Musket
The Brown Bess appears as the standard flintlock musket of the Spanish and Portuguese soldiers. The Jesuit priest Fielding (Liam Neeson) is seen using one as he and the natives ambush the soliders in canoes.
Flintlock Fowler
Mendoza is seen using a short barreled Flintlock Fowler at the film's beginning during a hunt to capture native tribesmen.
