The Desperate Hours is a 1955 thriller starring Humphrey Bogart as the leader of a trio of escaped convicts who terrorize a family whose house they have taken over. A feature film remake directed by Michael Cimino and starring Mickey Rourke and Anthony Hopkins was released in 1990.
