The Aviator is a 2004 American German movie directed by Martin Scorsese. In the 1930s and 1940s, the young multimillionaire Howard Hughes revolutionizes Hollywood and becomes one of the most successful producers in the dream factory. Along the way, he is a daredevil pilot and a driving force behind modern commercial aviation. Women are at his feet and he has scandalous affairs with the elegant Hollywood star Katharine Hepburn and the sensual screen goddess Ava Gardner. But Howard Hughes has only one love: flying.
The cast also includes: Gwen Stefani, Willem Dafoe, Adam Scott, Matt Ross, Brent Spiner, and Kenneth Welsh.
