The Asphalt Jungle was a heist film directed by John Huston (The Maltese Falcon, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The African Queen) and starred Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern, Jean Hagen, James Whitmore, Sam Jaffe, John McIntire, Anthony Caruso, and Marilyn Monroe. Not surprisingly, the heist goes bad.
The following firearms were used in the film The Asphalt Jungle (1950):
Colt Detective Special
Throughout the film, Dix Handley (Sterling Hayden) and detectives carry the Colt Detective Special revolver.
Colt Official Police
Police officers carry the Colt Official Police revolver.
Colt Official Police, long barrel
Various law enforcement officers carry the Colt Official Police heavy barrel revolver.
Colt Government
Bob Brannom (Brad Dexter) packs the Colt Government pistol.
