The Parallax View is the 1974 feature film adaptation of the Loren Singer novel of the same name. Warren Beatty stars in the film as Joseph Frady, a newspaper reporter who slowly uncovers a conspiracy surrounding the assassinations of several political figures, including a US Senator. The film was directed by Alan J. Pakula, and is considered part of his "Political Paranoia" trilogy of films, which includes Klute and All the President's Men.

Smith & Wesson Model 10
At the film's beginning, a Smith & Wesson Model 10 appears to be used in an assassination attempt on a US Senator at Seattle's Space Needle. Sheriff L.D. Wicker (Kelly Thordsen) also is seen pulling a Smith & Wesson Model 10 on Joseph Frady (Warren Beatty).
Smith & Wesson Model 34
After the Senator is assassinated at the film's beginning, what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 34 is seen in the hands of a Parallax operative (Bill McKinney).
Remington Model 700
Joseph Frady (Warren Beatty) spots a Remington Model 700 rifle on a scaffolding after witnessing an assassination.
Ithaca 37
What appears to be an Ithaca 37 is used by a Parallax agent.
