Looks more like Beretta Model 38/42. Greg-Z (talk) 09:26, 21 November 2012 (EST)
- It´s true. Thank you Greg. And could you also check the cannons and mortar, if I'm right?--Pandolfini (talk) 12:08, 21 November 2012 (EST)
- The mortar is an interesting piece. Looking on its short barrel, I would guess that it can be a German 8cm Kz.Gr.W. 42 — a shorten version of Gr.W. 34 that was issued to mountain troops. But it's only a guess. And the gun is not a ZIS-3 but a German PAK 40. Greg-Z (talk) 12:36, 21 November 2012 (EST)
M53 Šarac
I recall it being mentioned that local copies of the famed MG42, the Zastava's very own M53, were snuck to filming. Despite being identical to the original in terms of appearance, the M53 fired at a much more conventional 800 round per minute, although with certain ammunition types it could fired at around 1000 round per minute. This difference was why it was favored and actually made it a bit more manageable to film. I'm not sure if that means that only certain 'MG42s' were original captured German machine guns (ie. M53/42 as it was official called) that served in the JNA or were all of them in fact the local variant.
Also great to see this film finally made it to here! --BeloglaviSup (talk) 09:43, 21 November 2012 (EST)
Flak 88
The Flak 88 is actually Soviet 85mm air defense gun M1939 (52-K) --Bednardos 19:55, 21 November 2012 (EST) Thx! Pity that this gun need the seven men as service, otherwise I'd founded here.--Pandolfini (talk) 16:43, 21 November 2012 (EST)
PPS-43
Great page! One remark, is the PPS-43 not in the movie? I see Yul Brynner with this gun on the poster, but it may be yet another case of the poster not correctly reflecting the actual movie. If anybody has the movie, please let me know, I am curious, --PeeWee055 (talk) 12:18, 5 January 2013 (EST)
Molotov cocktail
Partisans use incendiary Molotov cocktails against the Germans.
