The Anderson Tapes is a 1971 neo-noir crime drama based on Lawrence Sanders' 1970 novel, starring Sean Connery—in one of his first post-James Bond roles—as a charismatic recently released safecracker operating under the scrutiny of heavy surveillance. Christopher Walken made his debut as a young criminal who joins Anderson's team.

The only other armed member of the robbery team besides Duke, "Socks" Parelli (Val Avery), carries a M1911A1.

Several of the NYPD Tactical Patrol Force officers carry Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers in their holsters.

At least one NYPD Tactical Patrol Force officer carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 Heavy Barrel revolver.

Captain Delaney (Ralph Meeker) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 15 Snub Nose revolver.
Unidentified Revolver
Though it's later a Colt, Sergeant Everson (Garrett Morris) carries a different revolver in his holster when scaling the side of the apartment building.

Dr. Rubicoff's Arsenal
Dr. Rubicoff (Conraid Bain) keeps a surprisingly large arsenal in his New York City apartment, comprised mostly of shotguns, antique flintlock pistols, and percussion revolvers like the Colt 1851 Navy and Colt 1860 Army.
