Beretta 92FS
Many LAPD officrs and detectives use the Beretta 92FS as their sidearm, including Detective Sammy Bryant, Detective Daniel "Sal" Salinger, Detective Nate Moretta, Officer Dewey, Detective Russell Clarke, and a number of other officers. This weapon is on the LAPD approved carry list. Also, used by at least one of the LASD deputys in episode 4. This weapon is also on the Sheriff's Department approved carry list.
Smith & Wesson 4566
Officer John Cooper and Detective Lydia Adams both use a Smith & Wesson automatic, likely a Smith & Wesson 4566, as their sidearm. This weapon is on the LAPD approved carry list. Cooper's gun is equipped with adjustable sights, while Adams' gun has Novack sights.
Glock 22
Officer Ben Sherman uses a Glock 22 as his sidearm. This weapon is standard issue to all LAPD probationary officers. Upon completion of probation, they may choose to switch to another weapon on the approved carry list, or they can stay with the Glock.
Kimber TLE Custom II
Officer Chickie Brown uses a Kimber TLE Custom II as her sidearm. This weapon, fitted with a Surefire 310R weaponlight, is the standard sidearm for LAPD SWAT, which makes sense because Officer Brown is trying to become the first female SWAT officer.
Remington 870
Several LAPD officers are seen using Remington 870 shotguns, once seen equipped with tactical lights in episode 1. They are often seen in the shotgun racks of the police cars. This is the standard shotgun for all LAPD personnel. Detective Clarke notably uses one loaded with beanbag ammo in episode 2.
Smith & Wesson 6906
Detective Adams uses a Smith & Wesson 6906 as her off duty gun. She gives it to the witness she is protecting in episode 7. You can tell this is not her S&W 4566 that she carries on duty because the slide on her off duty gun is smaller than that on her duty gun.
Mossberg 500 Cruiser
Detective Adams keeps a Mossberg 500 Cruiser with an extended magazine tube in a safe in her home. She uses it to shoot the gang members trying to kill a witness in her home in episode 7. It is identified as a Mossberg by the magazine cap.
M4 Carbine
LAPD SWAT members are armed with M4 Carbines during the raid on a gang member's arms dealing warehouse in episode 5.
Heckler & Koch USP
A Hispanic gang member uses a two tone Heckler & Koch USP to shoot a non-gang affiliated black kid. One of the LASD deputys in episode 4 also had a USP. It would be the .45 ACP version, as that is the only USP on the Sheriff's Department approved carry list.
Smith & Wesson Model 60
A Hispanic gang member uses a Smith & Wesson Model 60 to shoot the same black kid in episode 1.
Non Gun AK-47
Officer Dewey uses an AK-47 non-gun in Episode 3.
AK-74
Officer Dewey uses an AK-74 in Episode 3.
M60E3
Officer Dewey uses an M60E3 in Episode 3.
