The Breda Modello 31 is an Italian 13.2mm machine gun; it's a license-produced version of the French Hotchkiss M1929. It served as an anti-air weapon aboard the vast majority of the Regia Marina's ships in twin and single mounts, as well submarines and smaller craft like MAS boats; it was also found on some tanks and trains.
The Imperial Japanese Navy also used their own domestic version of the Hotchkiss aboard ships, the Type 93.
