Triple Frontier is a 2019 Netflix original action film that focuses on a team of former Special Forces operators who decide to go on a mission to rob a cartel leader of several million dollars. When the mission goes awry, they find themselves on the run. The film's cast included Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hedlund, and Charlie Hunnam. The film was directed by J.C. Chandor, who directed Isaac in 2014's A Most Violent Year, and who also co-wrote the screenplay with Mark Boal, the screenwriter of The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty.
In the film, the rifles used by the protagonists are stated to have been acquired on the Colombian black market, meaning that they're all cobbled together from the parts of various other rifles, even leading to some components of some rifles having different paint jobs than others.
The following weapons were used in the film Triple Frontier:

Handguns
Glock 17
The Glock 17 pistol is the sidearm carried by the majority of the team, including Tom "Redfly" Davis (Ben Affleck) and Santiago "Pope" Garcia (Oscar Isaac).
Glock 19
Francisco "Catfish" Morales (Pedro Pascal) carries a Glock 19 as his sidearm.
Beretta 92FS
National Police officers carry Beretta 92FS pistols.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power pistol is among the weapons seen in the cartel stronghold. A villager also appears to carry a BHP.
M1911A1 (Gold-plated)
A gold-plated M1911A1 is among the weapons found in a cartel stronghold.
M1911A1 (nickel)
A nickel M1911A1 pistol appears to be used by Gabriel Martin Lorea (Reynaldo Gallegos).
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5K
A Heckler & Koch MP5K is found among the weapons in a cartel stronghold.
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A Heckler & Koch MP5A2 submachine gun is also found among the weapons in a cartel stronghold.
Heckler & Koch UMP
A Heckler & Koch UMP is seen held by a cartel soldado.
IMI Uzi
Some cartel soldados are armed with the full-size Uzi.
Rifles/Carbines
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The M4A1 carbine is primarily carried by Tom "Redfly" Davis (Ben Affleck) which is fitted with a EOTech 512 holographic sight, KAC rail and vertical grip. The M4A1 used by Tom is one of the same ones used in Lone Survivor, as it bears the same tan paint job from that film (though it lacks the ACOG, M203, and AN/PEQ-2 from that film). Colombian National Police officers all wield older M4A1s with A2 factory rounded handguards and carry handle rear iron sights.
M4A1 SOPMOD Block II
Ben Miller (Garrett Hedlund) appears to be armed with an M4A1 Block II. His weapon is fitted with Magpul CTR stock and pistol grip, as well as an ACOG sight. The weapon in the film is actually a Daniel Defense M4A1 upper receiver group on a Noveske N4 lower receiver group.
Colt Model 933
Both Santiago "Pope" Garcia (Oscar Isaac) and William "Ironhead" Miller (Charlie Hunnam) carry Colt Model 933 carbines with 11.5" barrels as their weapons, though each man's carbine is configured differently:
- Pope's M933 is fitted with a low-profile gas block and an early (mid-2000s) Yankee Hill 9638 free-floating quad rail, a factory six-position stock, an EOTech XPS sight with backup carry handle rear sight, and a Gen 1 Magpul AFG. This is likely the same carbine - albeit with different optics and furniture - that was used in The Unit and Savages, both of which procured their weapons from Independent Studio Services, like this film.
- Ironhead's M933 uses a tan-painted ARMS SIR handguard and the standard triangular front sight post, Magpul stock and pistol grip, and an M68 Aimpoint sight; this rifle was actually built by combining a Colt M933 upper group (originally configured with the SIR forearm for Transformers) with a Noveske N4 lower receiver group.
M16
Two M16-type rifles with A1 sights, one with A2 handguards and one with the standard triangular handguards, are seen in Pope's armory. They are only seen from their left sides, meaning their exact models can't be identified.
Colt CAR-15
Two Colt CAR-15-type carbines are seen in Pope's armory. One has a Colt scope on the carry handle. Like the M16 rifles, they are only shown from the left and cannot be identified as having a forward assist or not.
AKM
Several cartel soldados are armed with AKM rifles.
AKMS
Some villagers and cartel soldados are armed with AKMS rifles.
Norinco Type 56-1
Francisco "Catfish" Morales (Pedro Pascal) is armed with a Norinco Type 56-1.
M43 Spanish Mauser
Tomas (Gustavo Gomez) and another villager are armed with what appear to be M43 Spanish Mauser rifles.
Other
Browning M3 Heavy Machine Gun
A Browning M3 appears to be mounted as a doorgun on the police Blackhawk helicopter in the film's beginning.
M136 AT-4
What appears to be an M136 AT-4 is seen used by the cartel against National Police in the film's beginning.
M203 Grenade Launcher
Pope uses an M203 grenade launcher attached to an M4A1 Carbine to take out the second floor of the cartel stronghold.
