Bullet Train is an upcoming American action comedy film directed by David Leitch, from a screenplay by Zak Olkewicz. The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle (published in English as Bullet Train) by Kōtarō Isaka.
In the center of the plot is the professional killer Ladybug, who receives the task of collecting a briefcase located on a high-speed train briefcase heading from Tokyo to Morioka. However, besides him, several more assassins are on board. Then killers find out that they all are connected. Bullet Train is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 5, 2022, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
