The Equalizer is a 2014 feature film adaptation of the 1980s television series of the same name. The film stars Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, a former U.S. agent living under an assumed identity in Boston who decides to fight against the Russian crime organization when a teenage girl he met is found brutalized. The film was directed by Antoine Fuqua, the second of four collaborations with Washington, which also includes Training Day (2001) and The Magnificent Seven (2016) in addition to their reunion for the 2018 sequel, The Equalizer 2.
The following weapons were used in the film The Equalizer:
Handguns
Glock 17
A suppressed Glock 17 is seen in the hands of a Russian mobster at Slavi's (David Meunier) restaurant. This pistol is also seen in the hands of Detectives Gilly (Timothy John Smith) and Harris (Robert Wahlberg). Several Glocks are also seen in an arsenal that Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) keeps in a closet.
Glock 19
A corrupt Boston PD Detective Frank Masters (David Harbour) and his associates Pederson (James Wilcox) and Remar (Mike O'Dea) use Glock 19 pistols as their duty sidearms. One of Teddy's (Marton Csokas) henchmen also uses a Glock 19 during the showdown at the Home Mart before McCall seizes it and gives it to Ralphie (Johnny Skourtis).
Colt Detective Special
Frank Masters (David Harbour) holds a third generation Colt Detective Special while off-duty.
Springfield Armory XD
Andri (Vitaliy Shtabnoy) pulls a Springfield Armory XD on McCall, who later takes it from him. Before he disarms Andri, McCall asks if the pistol was a "Heckler & Koch".
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS can be seen in a thug's shoulder holster.
Star Ultrastar
A robber brandishes a Star Ultrastar while robbing the Home Mart.
Submachine Guns
IMI Uzi
One of Andri's henchmen holds an IMI Uzi with a foregrip.
IMI Micro Uzi
A thug disguised as a P&E worker (Johnny Messner) wields a Micro Uzi while confronting McCall.
Sa vz. 61 Skorpion
One of Andri's henchmen holds a Sa vz. 61 Skorpion. Later McCall is also seen wielding this gun.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Teddy Rensen (Marton Csokas) is seen with a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a railed handguard, RIS foregrip, suppresor, and EOTech XPS2 holosight while confronting McCall at the Home Mart. In a continuity error, the MP5A3 switches from having a Navy trigger group to a S-E-F trigger group.
Heckler & Koch UMP45
Three of Teddy's henchmen are armed with Heckler & Koch UMP45 submachine guns while searching for McCall at the Home Mart. The UMPs have numerous attachments including suppressors, AN/PVS-14 night sights, EOTech XPS2 holosights, and SureFire M900 foregrips.

An MP40 submachine gun is displayed in the office of Vladimir Pushkin (Vladimir Kulich).
Shotguns
Remington 870 (Sawed-Off)
One of Little John Looney's (Shawn Fitzgibbon) henchmen holds a Remington 870 with a sawed-off barrel and stock during the meeting with Teddy.
Double Barreled Shotgun (Sawed-Off)
A thug points a sawed-off Double Barreled Shotgun at Masters when he and McCall visit Andri's money laundering operation.
Rifles
Zastava M92
One of Andri's henchmen points a Zastava M92 carbine at McCall.
Heckler & Koch HK416
Teddy's henchmen are armed with Heckler & Koch HK416 D10RS carbines while confronting McCall at the Home Mart. The carbines have numerous attachments including suppressors, AN/PVS-14 night sights, Aimpoint red dot sights, Magpul CTR stocks and tactical lights.
PSL Sniper Rifle
A PSL Sniper Rifle is seen in Vladimir Pushkin's office.
Others
Nail Gun
McCall uses a nail gun while battling Teddy and his henchmen at the Home Mart.
Closet Weapons Cache
Much like the original series, McCall keeps several weapons in a hidden cache in his apartment. Several handguns, including a Glock 26 with a suppressor can be seen on the back wall, and what appears to be a Serbu Super Shorty shotgun can be seen on the right side.
