Ambulance is a 2022 American action film directed and produced by Michael Bay. It is based on the 2005 Danish film of the same name by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen. The film stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as William Sharp, a war veteran, who is forced to rob a LA Federal Bank with his adoptive brother Daniel (Jake Gyllenhaal) in order to pay for his wife's operation. During the robbery, the brothers steal an ambulance with EMT and an injured police officer they shot on board.
