Torchwood - Children of Earth is the official name of the third season of the series. Unlike previous seasons that relied on "monster of the week" style plot scenarios, a five episodes are linked and form part of a larger story. It follows the actions of Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman), and his remaining colleagues Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd) as they investigate an alien force that is demanding the sacrifice of a large percentage of Earths children, whilst also being hunted by the British Government.
The following weapons were used in Season 3 of the television series Torchwood:
Pistols
Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3
Torchwood agents Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd) continue to carry the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 4.3, this time after obtaining them from government agents in "Day One". Various other characters including Alice Carter (Lucy Cohu) and Clem MacDonald (Paul Copley) are seen using the pistols throughout the series.
Walther P99
The Walther P99 is carried by Johnson (Liz May Brice) as her personal sidearm. The model used in the series appears to be an airsoft replica.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is carried by Dr. Rupesh Patinjali (Rik Makarem) in "Day One", as well as uniformed security officers at MI5 Headquarters, Thames House.
Glock 26 Advance
The fictional Glock 26 Advance (an airsoft pistol manufactured by Tokyo Marui) is seen in the holsters of some of Johnson's troops throughout the series. It contains a built in compensator and extended magazine. UNIT soldiers are also seen carrying them in "Day Five". The pistol is frequently seen as a background weapon in the sister series Doctor Who.
SIG-Sauer P226
In "Day Three", one of Johnson's soldiers is seen with a holstered SIG-Sauer P226. In a continuity error it turns into a Tokyo Marui Hi Capa 4.3 when taken by Alice Carter (Lucy Cohu). In "Day Four", a security guard at Thames House is seen carrying a P226 as his sidearm.
Browning Hi-Power
A Browning Hi-Power is requisitioned by John Frobisher (Peter Capaldi) in "Day Five".
Submachine Guns
Sterling SMG (L2A3)
In a flashback to 1965 in "Day Four", the Sterling SMG is carried by British Army soldiers assisting Ellen Hunt (Sophie Hunter) and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman).
Assault Rifles
Heckler & Koch G36C
The Heckler & Koch G36C is carried by British Army soldiers and armed police officers throughout the series.
M4A1 Carbine
A variant of the M4A1 rifle is carried by soldiers under the command of Johnson (Liz May Brice), including Corporal Kamara (Osi Okerafor). They are fitted with EOtech sights, RIS rails, and Surefire flashlights.
Rifles
ArmaLite AR-15
In "Day Two", a government sniper uses an unidentified AR-15 pattern rifle fitted with a Magpul PRS stock and telescopic sight when attacking Gwen Cooper (Eve Myles) and Ianto Jones (Gareth David-Lloyd).
