The Walking Dead: World Beyond is the second limited companion series to The Walking Dead and follows a group of young survivors as they enter the apocalypse for the very first time. The limited series was set to premiere in the US on AMC in April of 2020, but was delayed until October by the real-life effects of COVID-19. The second and final 10 episode season was released in the US on AMC in October of 2021.
