Slow Horses is a 2022 spy thriller series produced by AppleTV+, based on the 2010 novel of the same name. It focuses on a group of London-based Security Service (MI5) agents led by Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) who have been exiled to Slough House, an administrative purgatory for those who have made severe operational mistakes.
The series also stars Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, the newest agent sent to Slough House, Jonathan Pryce as his grandfather and retired senior official David Cartwright and Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Tavener, the Deputy Director-General codenamed "Second Desk".
