Faster is a 2010 American action thriller film starring Dwayne Johnson as an ex-convict who sets out to avenge the death of his brother (Matt Gerald) after they were double-crossed during a heist ten years ago. During his campaign of revenge, he's tracked by a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thornton) and an egocentric hitman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen).
The following weapons were used in the film Faster:
Killer (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) uses a 3rd Generation Glock 21 with a custom carbon fiber pattern on the frame (and also an extended slide release) as his sidearm for a good portion of the film. While the director of the film referred to the pistol as a "Glock Model 22" in an interview, the weapon is in fact a Glock 21, as evidenced when Killer is seen loading the magazine with .45 ACP ammunition. The Glock 21 from this film was later used in Savages and in Season 2 of Ray Donovan.
Glock 22
Cop (Billy Bob Thornton) carries a 2nd Generation Glock 22 as his sidearm. In an interview with the director, he describes it as "Glock Model 20", perhaps confusing it with Killer's weapon, which is in fact a Glock 21. The Glock 22 in this film was one of the guns originally bought for U.S. Marshals.
A full size two-tone Heckler & Koch USP (caliber unknown) is seen in Killer's (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) armory, being taken by his girlfriend, Lily (Maggie Grace). Killer is later seen cleaning this same USP.
(The Push knife at the bottom of the case looks like a Cold Steel Safe Maker II)
(Two fixed blades appear to be Busse and/or Swamp Rat knives)
Kimber Ultra Raptor
A sub-compact stainless Kimber Ultra Raptor is used by Killer's girlfriend Lily (Maggie Grace) during their honeymoon, and is stored in the armory along with the other weapons. Lily is also seen shooting bottles with it at the same honeymoon location in the alternate ending.
Beretta 92FS
A Beretta 92FS is one of the pistols seen in Killer's armory.
Colt M1911A1
Telemarketer (Courtney Gains) and The Evangelist (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) both carry Colt M1911A1 pistols when they take down the bank robbers.
Driver (Dwayne Johnson) uses a 2.5" barrel Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan as his sidearm throughout the film. The unfluted cylinder indicates that it is chambered for the .454 Casull cartridge or the .480 Ruger cartridge. However the .480 Ruger model has been discontinued, and shots in the film confirm it is loaded with .454 Casull rounds.
Smith & Wesson Model 15 Snub
A 2" barrel Smith & Wesson Model 15 Snub revolver is used to shoot Driver in the back of the head during the flashback where his brother is killed.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5A2
A Heckler & Koch MP5A2 fitted with a Harris bipod and a scope is seen being reassembled by Killer's girlfriend Lily (Maggie Grace) in a deleted scene.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
A Heckler & Koch MP5A3 fitted with a tri-rail forend and an M68 Aimpoint scope is seen in Killer's armory.
