- Clair Hamilton's revolver is a Ruger, see Daughter of the Wolf revolver 1 3.jpg where the typical Ruger cylinder release is seen. Maybe a Speed Six as it has fixed sights, but check twice, I'm not sure.
- Seth's rifle is not a Howa M1500, it has different rear part of the receiver and safety. I suspect Winchester 70 but I'm not an expert in such guns, so my guess may be wrong. Compare here, for the beginning.
- Father's rifle is not a Winchester 1873, the receiver is radically different. Likely a Winchester Model 1894.
