Breakout is a 1975 action film directed by Tom Gries. Jay Wagner (Robert Duvall) is framed in murder and incarcerated in Mexican prison. His wife Ann (Jill Ireland) hires a Texas pilot Nick Colton (Charles Bronson) to rescue Jay from prison.

Colt Python Snub Nose
In the final scene Cable (Paul Mantee) is armed with a snub nose revolver. Due to its target sights and ribbed barrel it is supposed to be a Colt Python though not for sure.

An M1911A1 is used as a murder weapon in the opening scene.

A Mauser C96 is seen in the office of chief warden Sanchez.

A Luger P08 is seen in the office of chief warden Sanchez.

Several Mexican prison guards are armed with M1928A1 Thompson SMGs.

M43 Spanish Mauser
In the opening scene two Mexican prison guards are armed with M43 Spanish Mauser rifles (this scene was filmed is Spain).
Karabiner 98k "Kriegsmodell"
Most Mexican prison guards are armed with Karabiner 98k "Kriegsmodell" rifles. The scenes in the prison were filmed in France where German war-time rifles were in abundance.
