Several members of the US Cavalry are seen armed with [[Sharps_Rifle#Sharps_1859_Carbine|Sharps 1859 carbines]]. Captain Joseph J. Blocker ([[Christian Bale]]) also appears to carry the carbine on his saddle. Highly anachronistic as the Sharps 1859 was phased out in 1864 and the film is set in 1892. They would more likely be using Springfield Trapdoor rifles, or Krag Jørgensen rifles.
