Doug ([[Ben Affleck]]) uses a [[Heckler & Koch HK416]] with "jungle-style" taped magazines during the armored car heist. Later in the film, Jem ([[Jeremy Renner]]) uses the HK416 during the Fenway Park shootout when he uses up all two magazines of his [[AKMS]]. In a continuity error, we actually see Jem switch back and forth to his AKMS when reloading and when it was empty, then he grabs an HK416.

The Town is a 2010 crime drama directed by and starring Ben Affleck as a Boston bank robber who begins to have feelings for a victim of one of his earlier heists. While the film was adapted from the Chuck Hogan book Prince of Thieves, Affleck acknowledged that the 1995 film Heat was a big influence as well (the film even shows Affleck's character watching the film). The cast includes Rebecca Hall, Owen Burke, Slaine, Jon Hamm, Pete Postlethwaite and Jeremy Renner, who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
The following weapons were used in the film The Town:
Doug MacRay (Ben Affleck) and James "Jem" Coughlin (Jeremy Renner) both use Glock 17 pistols during the robbery at Fenway Park when they disguised as police officers. An armored car guard and Boston Police Department officers are also armed with Glocks. In the extended cut of DVD there is a scene which FBI Special Agent Adam Frawley (Jon Hamm), Frawley's Boston PD partner Dino Ciampa (Titus Welliver) and a large number of FBI agents and Boston PD detectives draw their Glock 17 pistols on a poor decoy that Doug and his crew have utilized to fool the police just prior to the Fenway Park shootout.
Beretta 92FS Inox
A Beretta 92FS Inox is seen lying on a table when FBI agents raid the apartment of Henry (Brian Scannell).
Beretta 92FS
In an alternate ending of the film, a Beretta 92FS is held by the Latino thug who had previously encountered Doug.
Jem brandishes what appears to be a Ruger KP90 when he confronts Doug outside a cemetery. It is seen in the back of his waistband and then he uses it to pistolwhip his friend after they get into a fistfight.
A SIG-Sauer P228 is seen being drawn out by a suspicious Fenway Park guard during Doug and Jem's standoff with the Fenway Park guards near the cash room. During the armored car heist, the overeager guard who tries to use Doug as a human shield appears to be holding a P228, visible as he falls over after Jem releases a small burst to wound him.
Smith & Wesson Model 38
When Jem (Jeremy Renner) and Doug (Ben Affleck) go to the house of the Latino thugs who were harassing Claire Keesey (Rebecca Hall) earlier, Jem uses what appears to be a Smith & Wesson Model 38 to threaten one of them and shoot him in his legs, and then they scatter cocaine all over the house to make it look like a drug deal gone wrong.
Shotguns
Remington 870
FBI Special Agent Adam Frawley (Jon Hamm) uses a Remington 870 with a shot shell holder during a raid at a local crack house and later in the shootout with MacRay and his crew at Fenway Park. Frawley's Boston PD partner Dino Ciampa (Titus Welliver) uses the Police Magnum Riot version of the Remington during the same shootout.
Jem is seen cleaning a Mini Uzi submachine gun in a publicity still, but not clearly seen in the film.
MAC 10
A MAC-10 is seen lying on a bed in a publicity still. Desmond "Dez" Elden (Owen Burke) is briefly seen wielding a MAC-10 during the car chase in Charlestown. The MAC-10s in the film have the folding stocks removed.
Unknown if it's an A2 or an A3, but a Boston SWAT officer can be seen with a surefire-mounted foregriped Heckler & Koch MP5 from afar.
Heckler & Koch MP5SD3
A Heckler & Koch MP5SD3 with a Navy trigger group and dual-magazines taped "jungle-style" is carried by Dez (Owen Burke) at the beginning of the Fenway Park shootout.
Rifles
DSA SA58 OSW Carbine
Doug MacRay (Ben Affleck) uses a DSA SA58 OSW Carbine with dual-magazines taped "jungle-style" during the shootout with FBI agents and Boston police at Fenway Park.
M4A1 Carbine
During the opening bank robbery, Jem (Jeremy Renner) uses a standard M4A1 Carbine with no added features. Later in the film FBI and Boston PD SWAT officers use M4A1s with various accessories during the Fenway Park shootout with MacRay and his crew.
Heckler & Koch HK416D
Doug (Ben Affleck) uses a Heckler & Koch HK416D with "jungle-style" taped magazines during the armored car heist. Later in the film, Jem (Jeremy Renner) uses the HK416D during the Fenway Park shootout when he uses up all two magazines of his AKMS. In a continuity error, we actually see Jem switch back and forth to his AKMS when reloading and when it was empty, then he grabs an HK416D.
SIG SG 551
During the opening bank robbery scene, Desmond "Dez" Elden (Owen Burke) carries a SIG SG 551 assault rifle.
Micro Galil
A Micro Galil is carried by Gloansy in the opening bank robbery. The Micro Galil used by Gloansy appears to have a rail forearm, and is fitted with a C-More sight.
AKMSU
During the armored car heist, Jem (Jeremy Renner) uses a R.I.S.-equipped AKMSU carbine to wound an overeager guard trying to use Doug as a human shield and later uses it to fire at the BPD officers that give chase. When two police cruisers manage to corner them with a PIT maneuver, and an officer orders them get out of their car, Jem releases a large burst of weaponfire, spraying up the police cars with bullet holes and also destroying the engine blocks, sending the officers scrambling for cover.
AKMS
A shortened AKMS rifle is used by Jem to shoot at FBI SWAT agents during the beginning of the Fenway Park shootout until he empties the weapon and switches to his HK416.
AKU-94 Bullpup
Albert "Gloansy" MacGloan (Slaine) is armed with an AKU-94 bullpup rifle with a red dot sight during the Fenway Park shootout.
