The following weapons were used in the film The Puppet Masters:
Pistols
Sphinx AT380
Sam Nivens (Eric Thal) carries a Sphinx AT380 as his sidearm in the film. He initially uses it with a suppressor. Later, he uses it with the suppressor when the agents are searching for Neil Jarvis (Richard Belzer). After Sam is taken over by one of the parasites and tranquilized, Nivens takes the gun.
Heckler & Koch USP
The Heckler & Koch USP is carried by Alex Holland (Keith David). The pistol is also handled by Andrew Nivens (Donald Sutherland) and Mary Sefton (Julie Warner). As with Terminal Velocity and Clear and Present Danger, this is one of the earliest appearances of this pistol in a feature film (since the USP debuted in 1993, when this movie was produced).
Beretta 92FS
Agents are armed with the Beretta 92FS.
Submachine Guns
Heckler & Koch MP5
Nivens' agents carry Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns with flashlight attachments when investigating the fake alien ship in the woods.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
Nivens' agents carry Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine guns when rescuing President Douglas (Tom Mason) from his own Secret Service detail, who are under the aliens' control.
IMI Uzi
One of the compromised agents in Douglas' Secret Service detail carries an IMI Uzi.
Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW
Sam also is armed with a Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW submachine gun.
Rifles/Carbines
Colt CAR-15 variant
Alex (Keith David) uses a CAR-15 variant with an underslung M203 grenade launcher.
M16A2
M16A2 rifles can be seen in the hands of soldiers throughout the movie.
Machine Guns
M60
An M60 machine gun is mounted on an Army humvee.
