And Your Love Too is a 1962 East-German movie directed by Frank Vogel. Berlin around August 13, 1961. The girl Eva stands between the brothers Ulli and Klaus, two working-class boys whose world views are opposite. Klaus is for the fast money he earns as a cab driver in the West and for a carefree life. Ulli is more serious, somewhat shy, and has a firm political viewpoint. On August 13, Klaus' path to the West is suddenly blocked, and Ulli stands at the border with a gun in his hand. With Eva, the self-confident Klaus makes the running, but when the girl becomes pregnant, he wants to shirk responsibility.
It was the first Mauerfilm (wall film) in the GDR to focus on the construction of the Berlin Wall.
