Dolomite (Rudy Ray Moore) carries a Colt Python.
Colt Detective Special
Det. Pete Blakely (Jerry Jones), Captain Ryan (Jack Kelly) and a thug carry Colt Detective Specials.
Colt Official Police
Sheriff Bently and a deputy carry Colt Official Police revolvers.
Unknown Handguns
Mossberg 500
Charlie, a deputy, Dolemite, one of Dolemite's men and two police officers carry Mossberg 500 shotguns.
J&R Engineering M80 Carbine
A thug uses a J&R Engineering M80 Carbine with the conical flash suppressor removed, a perforated barrel shroud (possibly from a Wilkinson Arms Linda Carbine) and a nonfunctional drum magazine mounted in front of the box magazine. The box magazine is inserted in the magazine well in the pistol grip.

Jethro carries a single-shot bolt action rifle resembling a Marlin Model 100 or Ranger Arms Model 36 or 103B.
