The following weapons were used in the film Azumi:
Muskets
Matchlock Pepperbox
Kanbê Inoue (Kazuki Kitamura) uses the very rare but historically-interesting Japanese matchlock pepperbox. Although it may seem like movie fiction, multi-charged revolving-barrel medieval Japanese firearms genuinely exist in very rare numbers.
Tanegashima
Samurai guarding the fort use Tanegashima muskets.
Trivia
Grenade
Nagato (Hideo Sakaki) gives the grenade to Nagara (Yûma Ishigaki) who later uses it to blow up the enemy fort.
Cannon
Several cannons can be seen in the fort. Azumi (Aya Ueto) uses one to destroy the fort's gate.
