Code 7... Victim 5 (UK release title Victim Five) is a 1964 adventure movie directed by Robert Lynn and starring Lex Barker as Steve Martin, a private investigator from New York who is hired by South African mining tycoon Wexler. After Wexler's butler is murdered, the tycoon states that his own life is in danger. But Martin's investigation in cooperation with police inspector Lead leads his not only to the person of murderer but also to the dark source of Wexler's wealth.
Note: the title is spelled differently in different sources. It is Code 7... Victim 5 on original posters, Code 7 Victim 5 (without three dots) on modern DVD releases and Code 7, Victim 5 on IMDb. The original spelling is used for this page title.
The following weapons were used in the film Code 7... Victim 5:
Webley Mk IV "Pocket" Model
In the final scene Dr. Paul Bryson (Dietmar Schonherr) holds a Webley Mk IV "Pocket" model revolver.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III rifles are seen in hands of Wexler's guards. During the lion hunt Steve Martin (Lex Barker) and Hans Kramer (Gustel Gundelach) use Lee-Enfields.
Unidentified hunting rifle
The mysterious shooter in the cave (his identity is revealed only in the end) uses a rifle that is seen only partially. Supposedly the same rifle is seen in hands of Hans Kramer (Gustel Gundelach) until he hands it to Steve Martin (Lex Barker) (then it switches to a Lee-Enfield in a continuty error).
