As a European socialist and gun control proponent I suspect I'm not actually the primary demographic of this website (It's not like I can or want to buy any of the handguns that keep being advertised at me!), but sometimes I just need to know what the sketchily drawn gun in the background of one scene in my Japanese animes is called. Besides, some of the commentary is delightfully snarky.
In any case, I need an account to make edits. My qualifications are basically that I'm a huge nerd: I've spent the last five or so years doing amateur research into late Cold War military equipment, with an emphasis on apartheid-era South Africa and the hypothetical European battlefield.
I also dream of being a writer some day, writing bad stories about badass women with firearms solving problems. The many detailed photos of firearms on IMFDB helps greatly with visualizing what that will look like.
Some of my favourite things that also have firearms in them:
