Fort Saganne is a 1984 French war film directed by Alain Corneau and based a novel of the same name by Louis Gardel. Story of the young officer-volunteer in the Sahara, who in 1911 leads a valiant defense against Sultan Omar. Starring Gérard Depardieu, Philippe Noiret, Catherine Deneuve, and Sophie Marceau.

Lt. Charles Saganne (Gérard Depardieu) and other French officers carry a Mle 1892 Revolvers.
Rifles
Lebel 1886
French and Arabic soldiers mainly carry Lebel 1886 rifles. Also, Lt. Saganne (Gérard Depardieu) uses this weapon.
Berthier Mle 1907-16
Arabs and French soldiers are armed with Berthier Mle 1907-16 what didn't enter service five years later. A better choice would be the Modèle 1892 Artillery Carbine or M1902 Colonial rifle.
Spanish Mauser M43
Some of the Arabian fighters are also seen with anachronistic M43 Spanish Mausers standing for correct German or Turkish models.
Kabyle Musket
