The Somme is a 2005 British produced documentary for Channel Four about the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The documentary tells the story of British, French and German soldiers during this battle. The focus is on the struggle for Ovillers and Mametz (Danzig Alley). In 2006 the BBC documentary The Somme – From Defeat to Victory describes the struggle of the northern village Thiepval.

The Webley Mk. VI revolver is used by some British officers including Capt. Charlie May (Ed Stoppard).
Nagant M1895
