Am currently reading "American Sniper" by Chris Kyle and, in the book, he gives a less than glowing review of the Mk.11. From what I understand, previous reliability issues have been more or less ironed out since Kyle's time and the M110's 2-round burst trigger defect was addressed pretty quickly by KAC. If there were still issues with the platform today, I figure SOCOM wouldn't be ordering 6.5 Creedmoor conversion kits for their SR-25s and would have solicited a whole new rifle instead. American Sniper
Am currently reading "American Sniper" by Chris Kyle and, in the book, he gives a less than glowing review of the Mk.11. Charon68 18:09, 9 February 2012 (CST)

XM110
I was gathering some pictures of few weapons and suddenly found this:
The magazine well says "XM110". Is it the real early version of the M110? If so, can it be added to the main page or even to the "Additional Images" section? --RaNgeR 16:14, 11 June 2012 (CDT)
- Is it possible that it is an airsoft? The XM110 is a real gun and was the prototype of the M110. The most visible differences are that the stock adjustment required a tool (no external nob) and the lack of a bolt release on the right side. However, this gun has the bolt release on the right side, so it isn't a genuine XM110. Here is a genuine XM110 undergoing testing, and you can see that it doesn't have the bolt release on the right side. --commando552 17:33, 11 June 2012 (CDT)
- Well, maybe it IS an airsoft. Well, thanks for the clarification :) --RaNgeR 04:30, 12 June 2012 (CDT)
- Found it, it is an airsoft made by Ares. --commando552 05:15, 12 June 2012 (CDT)
