::Rook rifle is a generic name for the rifles for small game hunt. They were break-action, or Martini system, or Francotte system, or God knows what else. Maybe "Francotte Rifle" would be more accurate? Rook rifle is a generic name for the rifles for small game hunt. They were break-action, or Martini system, or Francotte system, or God knows what else.
