This pistol can be mistaken for [[Tokarev TT-33|TT]] but several screenshots prove that is is real Browning 1903 which is a rare case in movies. Later the Browning 1903 is seen in hands of a masked robber.

The Probation (Ispytatelnyy Srok) is a 1960 Soviet detective drama movie directed by Vladimir Gerasimov and based on the story by Pavel Nilin. The plot is set in 1923 when two young men - Aleksandr Yegorov (Oleg Tabakov) and Sergey Zaytsev (Vyacheslav Nevinnyy) - begin their work as detectives of the Ugolovny Rozysk (criminal investigations department) and has to prove themselves.
