Discussion
What's the US shotgun? Definitely not a SPAS-12 by default.
- I'm an idiot. Going to the PC section to look.
Glock looks like a 19 to me
It looks too small to be an actual 17 and it has a 19 grip.--FIVETWOSEVEN 14:16, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
MEC sidearm
The MEC handgun isn't an MR-444, at least on the PS2 version. It's the Beretta M951, possibly the Egyptian or Iraqi clone. The Wierd It 10:17, 25 January 2012 (CST)
- Same on 360. Alex T Snow 14:30, 25 January 2012 (CST)
- It's pretty interesting to see how the console version of Battlefield 2 is so much different from the PC version. Unlike Battlefield 3 :\ --Masterius 09:20, 28 January 2012 (CST)
- Honestly they don't really have anything to do with each other, this and BF2. Alex T Snow 19:31, 28 January 2012 (CST)

The following weapons are seen in the video game Battlefield 2: Modern Combat:
Handguns
Beretta 92F
The Beretta 92F appears as the "M92F".
Glock 19
The Glock 19 appears, erroneously referred to as the Glock 17.
Norinco QSZ-92
Tariq
The Tariq, an Iraqi copy of the Beretta M1951, appears in the game.
Submachine Guns
All Specialist kits wield SMGs by default, and all are equipped with sound suppressors and Aimpoint CompM2 reflex sights.
Heckler & Koch MP5A3
The US Specialist kit is equipped with the Heckler & Koch MP5A3.
Heckler & Koch UMP45
EU Specialists use the Heckler & Koch UMP as their SMG of choice.
Micro Uzi
The Micro Uzi is only mounted on the snowmobiles in the map "Frost Bite".
Norinco Type 79
The Norinco Type 79 is the SMG issued to the PLA Specialist role.
Shotguns
Combat Engineer roles are armed with combat shotguns for anti-personnel use. As with the light machine guns, the shotguns do not have an aiming option.
Benelli M3T Super 90
The EU Engineer class is armed with a Benelli M3 Super 90, although it has the SPAS-12's inventory icon and third person model. It also functions in the pump mode, unlike the SPAS-12.
Franchi SPAS-12
American Engineers are armed with Franchi SPAS-12 shotguns, set to semi-automatic function. As the other shotguns are pump-actions, the SPAS's higher firerate gives it an advantage.
Mossberg 500
The Mossberg 500 is available to the MEC Engineer kit.
RMB-93
Oddly, PLA Combat Engineers utilize the Russian RMB-93 forward pump action shotgun despite the presence of a Norinco Hawk 982 in the original PC version.
Assault Rifles
As standard for modern-themed Battlefield games, the Assault class wields Assault Rifles combined with underbarrel grenade launchers.
AK-47
AKS-74U
Colt M4A1 Carbine
The American Assault kit is equipped with an M4A1/M203 combo, with an Aimpoint CompM2 sight.
Enfield L85A2
EU Assault troops wield Enfield L85A2 rifles outfitted with SUSAT scopes and M203 launchers attached to a modified original SA80 style handguard.
Norinco QBZ-95
Assault kits of the PLA are equipped with Norinco QBZ-95 rifles and underslung Type 91 launchers.
Sniper Rifles
Barrett M95
Norinco QBU-88
SVD Dragunov
SVU Dragunov
Machine Guns
M249 SAW
Norinco QJY-88
PKM Machine Gun
Launchers
Carl Gustav M3
The Carl Gustav M3 appears, erroneously referred to as the Carl Gustav M2.
GP-25
M203
Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW
PF-98
RPG-7
Type 91
Explosives
AN/M8 smoke grenade
M61 hand grenade
M84 stun grenade
RGO-78 hand grenade
The RGO-78 hand grenade is available to the MEC Assault and Support kits.
Type 79 hand grenade
The Type 79 hand grenade is available to the PLA Assault and Support kits.
(I couldn't find much info about the real Type 79 (provided that it's the actual design seen in-game), but it's apparently similar to the Type 67 stick grenade). --Ultimate94ninja (talk) 15:53, 26 January 2016 (EST)
