MTs255 is a Russian revolving shotgun, developed by TsKIB SOO. It appeared in 1993, but mass production did not begin until 2000. According to the available information, to 2008 (perhaps also earlier) its serial production was discontinued, and at this moment it is again available only by order. On the base of the MTs-255 also was developed the experimental OTs-62 smoothbore revolver (in fact, the MTs-255 with a 200-mm barrel and pistol grip).
