Dolemite is a 1975 American blaxploitation crime film about pimp and a nightclub owner named Dolemite - played by Rudy Ray Moore, who also co-wrote the film and its soundtrack - who is serving 20 years in prison after being set up by a rival, Willie Green (D'Urville Martin). One day, his friend and fellow pimp Queen Bee (Lady Reed) helps him get out of jail and plots with him to get revenge on Green.
