Bungo Stray Dogs is an anime series of the manga of the same name directed by Takuya Igarashi. The series focuses on the "Armed Detective Agency," whose employees all have psychic abilities. They solve - often on behalf of the police - particularly serious cases or in which other people with supernatural abilities are involved. Their opponent is the Port Mafia, the action takes place in the city of Yokohama. Many of the characters are named after well-known Japanese writers and their skills are borrowed from their literary work.
The teenager Atsushi Nakajima, who was thrown out of the orphanage, is picked up by the detective Osamu Dazai. He has discovered that behind Atsushi is the White Tiger, which regularly attracts passers-by at night. The detectives reveal to Atsushi his previously hidden ability and take him in. They also protect Atsushi from the Port Mafia that is after him, as on the black market a bounty of 1 billion yen on the "human-tiger" was exposed. Now the boy should make himself useful to the detectives and accompany them in their cases.
