The following guns were used in the movie Day of The Dead:
M16A1
Can be seen in the hands of the various soldiers. Later on fired by Capt. Rhodes (Joe Pilato) and Pvt. Steele (Gary Howard Klar).
9mm Uzi SMG
The 9mm Uzi SMG can also be seen alot in this movie. It is mainly carried by Sarah (Lori Cardille), John (Terry Alexander) and his co-pilot, William (Jarlath Conroy).
Heckler & Koch G3A3 Assault Rifle
This weapon is used by Pvt. Rickles (Ralph Marrero) throughout the movie.
M1911A1 pistol
The weapon can be seen in some shoulder holsters, but is also used by Pvt. Steel to threathen the scientists at one point. Bub, the "domesticated zombie", can also be seen aiming one in the movie.
Rhodes's revolver(s)
The exact make and model of Rhodes's revolver(s) is a mystery. They would seem to be of the .357 range, though. It could also be a Model 629 Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum. I think that it is, clearly, a S&W model 629. It seems too large to be a S&W model 66 (the only alternative)
There is no way they are .357,s, look at the bore! They are either .41 or 44
They could also be the S&W Model 657 .41 magnum. Though that might be a stretch.
What about model 29's, it's around the same time period.
They are definitely bad ass It's either a 28 or a 29 magnum by Smith and Wesson
What about Model 19s? Humanzie3
it could be a Ruger Redhawk...
in the movie commentary they refer to them as .44s
