The CZ Scorpion Evo 3 is a Czech submachine gun manufactured by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. The original CZ Scorpion Evo 3 was released in 2009 and was a slightly modified version of the Laugo LG-205A, a Slovakian prototype weapon. Shortly thereafter an improved variant known as the CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 was introduced, most easily differentiated by a more streamlined front end. A civilian semi-automatic version of the A1 is also produced, the CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1. Despite the similar name, it bears no mechanical relation to the Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion previously manufactured by CZ.
