The Hound of the Baskervilles is a British 2002 made for TV detective movie, based on the famous novel by Arthur Conan Doyle. It is directed by David Attwood and stars Richard Roxburgh as Sherlock Holmes and Ian Hart as Dr. Watson.
The following weapons were used in the film The Hound of the Baskervilles:
Revolvers
Webley .455 Mk III
Dr. Watson (Ian Hart) carries a compact Webley revolver of .455 series. Mk III seems to be the best guess though Mk IV or Mk V are also possible.
Note: see additional images on talk page.
Webley RIC
Sherlock Holmes (Richard Roxburgh) carries a nickel plated Webley RIC (supposedly Second Pattern). A blued RIC is Inspector Lestrade's (Danny Webb) handgun. Jack Stapleton (Richard E. Grant) manages to get Lestrade's revolver and uses in the final shootout on the marshes.
Note: see additional images on talk page.
Rifles
Martini-Henry Artillery Carbine
Prison guards, hunting for escaped Selden, are armed with Martini-Henry Carbines. Due to the lack of barrel bands, the carbines can be identified as Artillery model.
