Gladbeck is a 2018 German two-part film drama, which was produced by Ziegler under the direction of Kilian Riedhof. At the center of the incident is the nationwide hostage-taking by Gladbeck in August 1988. The two criminals, Hans-Jürgen Rösner and Dieter Degowski, raid a bank in Gladbeck. With a requested escort car, they take the employees of the financial institution as hostages. A two-day escape from the police begins. With Rösner's girlfriend Marion Löblich, now an accomplice, they hijack a bus a short time later in Bremen.
